I got the free birthday item and it’s great! When I went they let me pick between custom blended perfume, massage oil or bath salts. I went with the perfume and ended up with a very generous amount that they mixed into an atomizer. They ask you what kind of scent you like best (oriental, floral, etc.) and then let you smell different scents until you find the one you like best. It was pretty fun, didn’t take too long and I got a very nice sized freebie out of it. I recommend taking advantage of this if you have an Aveda store near you.
I’ve also gone in to get their samples a couple times and loved the products both times. And the staff has always been very friendly.
