CorsetChick Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Recently I was given the chance to review a corset dress for a great company called CorsetChicks. They sell corsets as well as petticoat style skirts. I LOVE corsets; always have. I have SO many of them. It was really hard for me to pick out one for review. I finally chose the Black Burlesque with Pink Stripes Corset that sells for $18.99.

The corset is 15 inches in length, has side zipper closure, underwire cup support, and adjustable laces in the back for a perfect fit!

Now let’s get down to how this corset is made. It does in fact have a lace up back and zipper side closure. You can’t tell from the photo on the website but it also comes with 3 bows that are along the lace trim of the corset. I’m not a bow person; I cut them off. I have larger hips and found that it just made them look bigger.

I also had an issue with the ribbon in the back not being really long. It does have enough ribbon to tie but for me personally I like to have extra long ribbon that hangs down a little. I wasn’t able to get this look with the length given. It wasn’t an issue for me though since I had extra black ribbon on hand.

Finish in pink satin with black lace design
